Summary: 
 
As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, commissioning and support of automation control systems across a variety of industries utilizing the latest technologies.  You will also be responsible for system designs, specifications, programming, troubleshooting, simulation, testing and commissioning.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
  1. Manage the specification, development, installation and validation of automation projects within budget and corporate guidelines.  
  2. Software development of bespoke machines & manufacturing systems.   
  3. Interact with the customers on technical requirements.  
  4. Assess existing technologies and processes.  
  5. Design and deliver best in class automation solutions.  
  6. Support operations with technical queries.  
  7. Work within a team and mentor junior engineers.  
  8. Document the project and manage change control.  
  9. Work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.   
  10. Ability to take ownership of projects.  
 
Qualifications: 
 
  1. Minimum of a Bachelors in Engineering related field (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, etc.).  
  2. 5+ years of industry experience   
  3. PLC experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, FT View, Ignition, Siemens TIA Portal/Step7, OSI PI Historian, VBA.  
  4. Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP an advantage  
  5. Cisco Networking qualification and/or VMware or equivalent qualification an advantage  
  6. Knowledge of Robotics and safety standards an advantage  
  7. Thorough knowledge of automation principles and procedures  
  8. Ambitious, confident and professional individuals with strong communication and organizational skills  
Salary & Benefits: 
 
  1. Salary:  $110,000 to $140,000 (based on experience)
  2. Benefits included:  Health Insurance; Pension; flexible and hybrid work schedule
