Senior Controls Engineer
Job Description
- Will be responsible for designing, developing and programming PLCs (Allen Bradley) for automated machinery.
- Configure and integrate HMI, SCADA, and motion control systems using Rockwell Automation products.
- Perform system debugging, troubleshooting, and commissioning at the facility and customer sites.
- Implement and optimize servo and VFD motor control for high-speed automation.
- Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, NFPA 79, and industry standards in control system designs.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing, installation, and field service teams.
- Participate in risk assessments and safety circuit design for automated equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (equivalent experience maybe considered).
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in programming / troubleshooting and electrical controls design.
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and motion control.
- Experience with EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and other industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced automation environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for installations and customer support.
