Senior Civil Project Engineer
Job Description
Must have: Post-tensioning experience required
100% on-site
- Engineering Calculations and Design: Prepare detailed calculations and drawings for post-tensioning and reinforcing applications, including infrastructure repair and strengthening. Experience with carbon fiber reinforced polymer systems is a plus.
- Drawing Oversight: Oversee and direct detailers in the preparation of accurate shop drawings for assigned projects.
- Product Development: Contribute to product development, testing, and certification projects.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to project managers and field operations teams.
- External Communication: Collaborate with contractors and design engineering firms as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering concentration is required.
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred
- Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ACI, PTI, PCI, AASHTO, and AISC.
- Experience with post-tensioning and proficiency in structural analysis and CAD software.
- Analytical and skilled in troubleshooting, identifying customer needs, and understanding market dynamics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar software.
- PE license in any state is required.
