About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Sanitation Supervisor to lead our 4th shift team in keeping our 24/7 dry mix operation running clean, safe, and compliant. In this role, you’ll own sanitation programs across the facility, drive food safety and quality initiatives, and lead a motivated team while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll also provide leadership backup for production when needed, making this a highly visible, cross-functional position that’s critical to our success.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, develop, and inspire the sanitation team to consistently deliver on food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement, and oversee sanitation and 5S programs that exceed customer, company, and regulatory expectations.
- Conduct facility inspections, manage environmental swabbing, and track results to ensure effective sanitation and monitoring programs.
- Audit compliance with GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and chemical handling standards, correcting gaps and training staff where needed.
- Drive continuous improvement—reducing downtime, minimizing equipment failures, and improving yield through proactive sanitation practices.
- Train and coach FSQA, operators, and other plant personnel on sanitation and food safety standards.
- Provide backup coverage for production supervision during vacations or emergencies.
- Partner with HR and leadership to administer the collective bargaining agreement fairly and effectively, resolving concerns with professionalism.
- Ensure every team member receives proper training, while identifying opportunities for additional skill development.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sanitation, food safety, or quality in a food manufacturing or processing environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and motivate a team.
- Solid understanding of GMPs, sanitation programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Flexibility to provide leadership support outside sanitation when needed.
