Title: Sales Support Assistant 
Location: Northwest Houston, TX  77043 (Hybrid/Remote) 
Hire Type: Contract (6+ months) 
Salary: $24-26/hr
 Preferred skills: Oracle experience preferred 
Misc: This role Hybrid/Remote (In office 1-2 X month) 

Summary: 
This position is responsible for providing customer support by handling general inquiries and orders from customers and supporting other functions within Operations. Basic duties include quoting, price and delivery with proper discounts to customers, accepting and processingsales orders, securing correct commercial terms, handling return material transactions, advising current status of orders in process, issuing debit and credit memos, maintaining a current and accurate filing system, administering import and export compliance, generating reports, and supporting outside sales efforts.

Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate all transactions as required, including processing sales orders, quotations, change orders, and shipping modes.
  • Administer pricing and order entry in accordance with operational objectives, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and speed.
  • Respond professionally and accurately to all requests or correctly refer requests to the responsible party within the organization.
  • Coordinate expediting requests between customers and DC resources.
  • Help to provide alternative options for supplying unavailableproducts
  • Negotiate lead-times and establish shipment dates in accordancewith available resources and inventory.
Required:
  • Four-year college degree preferred; high school education with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
  • Well-spoken with strong written and communication skills
  • Strong customer experience background
