Sales Specialist
Job Description
- Represent our client in a positive and professional manner.
- Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Arrive to work and meetings on time and prepared.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Work with all personnel and Regional Sales Manager(s) to satisfy and achieve company goals.
- Adhere to any Procedures & Work Instructions that include Sales.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Sales Manager.
- Respond to customer requests within 24 hours
- Receive and review customer request for quotations to determine feasibility.
- Ensure sufficient information is obtained to be able to quote per the Work Instructions.
- Quotations are to be made in a timely manner, typically within 24-48 hours of receiving the quotation, if it is a standard product; for bars, shape and other types of quotes within 3 to 7 days after receipt of inquiry.
Qualifications:
- Preferred bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field - not required
- 1-2 years of experience within a sales/customer service role
- Experience in sales within a metals, wire, or fabrication environment
