OVERVIEW

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead technical sales support from initial customer inquiry through final proposal delivery
  • Develop detailed quotes and cost estimates for custom engineering projects
  • Manage engineering design projects while ensuring alignment with customer specifications
  • Provide technical expertise and training to sales teams and other internal stakeholders
  • Conduct on-site technical support visits to customer locations
  • Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize costs and design
  • Evaluate applications and develop innovative solutions for customer requests
  • Contribute to product documentation and technical literature development
  • Review and improve product specifications and costing methods
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on product development and improvements

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience
  • 2+ years of technical sales support experience, preferably in material handling
  • Proficiency in electronic design software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with presentation abilities
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with crane and rigging industries preferred
  • Travel: Regional travel required for customer site visits
  • Salary: $90,000-$100,000/year
