JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical sales support from initial customer inquiry through final proposal delivery
- Develop detailed quotes and cost estimates for custom engineering projects
- Manage engineering design projects while ensuring alignment with customer specifications
- Provide technical expertise and training to sales teams and other internal stakeholders
- Conduct on-site technical support visits to customer locations
- Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize costs and design
- Evaluate applications and develop innovative solutions for customer requests
- Contribute to product documentation and technical literature development
- Review and improve product specifications and costing methods
- Collaborate with engineering teams on product development and improvements
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience
- 2+ years of technical sales support experience, preferably in material handling
- Proficiency in electronic design software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with presentation abilities
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with crane and rigging industries preferred
- Travel: Regional travel required for customer site visits
- Salary: $90,000-$100,000/year
