Summary:
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing preventive and predictive maintenance programs via CMMS. The role involves identifying equipment reliability issues, making recommendations for improvements, and managing spare parts inventories.

Requirements:
- Maintain CMMS software (Micromain or equivalent)
- Manage Predictive Maintenance Program (vibration analysis, oil analysis, etc.)
- Enhance Preventive Maintenance Program
- Monitor and report KPI's - Meant Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
- Corrective Action / Root Cause Analysis
- AutoCAD skills - designing plant layout
- Bachelor's in Engineering (open to area of study for the right experience)
- Experience in GMP environment / Food Safety / Chemical Control (NICE TO HAVE)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain CMMS software – Micromain or equivalent.
- Oversee and continually improve the SCH preventive maintenance program.
- Manage predictive maintenance program, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, etc.
- Monitor and report Key Productivity Indicators, evaluating equipment through daily PI reports, identifying MTBF and MTTR, and proactively developing countermeasures.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and suggest improvements.
- Collect data and track equipment downtime.
- Improve SOPs by reviewing existing documentation and creating new procedures for flow and repeatability.
- Manage all print documentation, including updates to PDFs and CAD drawings.
- Support maintenance and production departments as needed.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to procedures.
- Perform all duties as assigned by Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
- Responsible for reporting food packaging safety problems to plant management.
- In the incumbent's absence, transfer responsibilities to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Special Qualifications:
- Excellent computer skills, proficient with MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of extrusion and thermoforming processes.
- Experience with CMMS software, preferably Micromain.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in continuous improvement.
- Must be trained in and follow company policies on GMP, sanitation, prerequisite programs, chemical control, and food safety plans and policies.
- Competent to carry out food packaging safety and quality responsibilities.
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization.
- Good interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
Experience:
3 – 5 years of experience in a maintenance department at a manufacturing environment. Experience with AutoCAD, CMMS software, and equipment reliability is required. Experience in thermoforming and extrusion is a plus.

B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
