Regional Outside Sales Manager (Remote - East Coast)
Job Description
- This role is a unique opportunity to build and expand a new book of business within the East Coast territory. With a reputation for stability and long-term employee tenure, this company provides a supportive and growth-oriented environment. This is not a managerial role and does not include direct reports. The position offers a balance of remote work and travel.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to potential clients' needs.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing exceptional support.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts; negotiate terms to close deals and meet revenue targets.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and timely support.
- Territory Travel: Visit customer locations within the assigned East Coast territory to conduct meetings and sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an outside sales or business development role within an industrial manufacturing company (non-food, non-pharma).
- Experience with thermal components, electric heating elements or a related product line is required.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the East Coast territory
