Regional Account Manager (Heavy Industrial Machinery)
100% Remote Position - PHILADELPHIA TERRITORY
Heavy Regional Travel Required
  • 70%-80% travel during the week, no weekends
  • Mainly regional travel, occasional national travel
  • Company credit card and all travel expenses are taken care of
Target Starting Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000/year
Commission Potential on top of Salary: $8,000-$30,000/year

Job Summary:
As a Regional Account Manager, you will be crucial in driving equipment and aftermarket part sales for large industrial machinery. This position requires a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management/Outside Industrial Sales/Aftermarket Sales, specifically within the Industrial Machinery Industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing regional sales strategies, strong knowledge of industrial equipment, and the ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.

Job Duties:
  • Proactively contact customers to increase aftermarket parts sales.
  • Create and process parts quotes in a timely manner.
  • Update and maintain customer information in Merlin.
  • Collaborate with the Outside Sales Team to follow up and convert quotes into orders.
  • Provide Order Specialists with accurate customer information to ensure sales orders are entered and confirmed.
  • Coordinate with Sales Expediters to promptly process expedite emergency orders and follow up on past due orders to ship orders as quickly as possible.
  • Collaborate with Order Specialists to accurately process formal complaints, customer returns, and customer adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the development, training, and implementation of sales campaigns to gain new customers.
  • Assist with projects and activities as requested.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Outside Industrial Sales/Aftermarket within the machinery industry, with a strong understanding of large industrial equipment
  • Proven track record of developing regional sales strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel 70%-80% of the time during the week (Regional Travel)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
  • Any foundry or blast equipment expertise is strongly preferred
