Recruiter and Account Manager
Job Description
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $30/hr

- Serve as the onsite representative of Sterling Engineering at a key client facility.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and proactively source candidates for light industrial and technical roles.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting, and coordinating hiring logistics.
- Deliver a seamless onboarding experience while ensuring compliance with Sterling and client policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Sterling contractors on-site—supporting performance, attendance, and workplace concerns.
- Drive contractor engagement and retention by addressing issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in Sterling’s ATS and client systems.
- Collaborate with Sterling’s internal teams to ensure outstanding client satisfaction.
- 2-5+ years of recruiting and account management experience, preferably in staffing or talent acquisition.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience filling light industrial and skilled technician roles is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to travel domestically as needed.
