Job Description
Responsibilities
- Fabrication and assembly of prototype components and systems
- Assist engineers in the design, assembly, and wiring of test set-ups.
- Assist engineers in new R&D designs with a focus in refrigeration, fluids, and electrical circuits
- Periodic troubleshooting of production test equipment
- Run experiments, log data and take notes on outcomes
- Utilize common production shop tools to perform assembly activities
- Utilize common measurement tools and gages, such as multimeters and pressure gauges
- Maintain shop calibration including testing, scheduling, and replacing as necessary
- Possibility of Forklift Operation or Training for Forklift Operation
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, with AS degree or similar technical certification
preferred - Mechanically oriented work
- Ability to perform physical work, frequently standing and walking, during work hours
- Ability to frequently and repetitively squat, kneel, bend, reach, lift, push, and carry loads in excess
of 50 lbs - Ability to utilize ladders or other high structures
- Ability to read piping and electrical drawings a strong plus
