Job Summary:
  • The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing quality and food safety within a designated section of the production plant. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, this position manages a team, collaborates cross-functionally, and ensures compliance with our company's Food Safety and Quality Standards. The role involves leading root cause analyses, continuous improvement initiatives, and employee training for quality objectives.

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of new standards with the Food Safety & Quality Systems supervisor and the Head of Quality.
  • Oversee the application of product and process quality specifications.
  • Guide production line operators and manage documentation, instructions, and records.
  • Analyze trends, calculate KPIs, and support the production department on quality matters.
  • Verify the application of Quality system procedures following the ISO 9001 model and group requirements.
  • Verify the application of Food Safety system procedures following GFSI/FSSC22000 model.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP rules.
  • Manage products on hold for quality reasons and non-conformities.
  • Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and consumer complaints.
  • Plan, organize, and provide training to employees in production and support functions.
  • Support operators in executing auto-control activities and provide necessary GMP training.
  • Manage the team to ensure timely activities.
  • Ensure team members are trained and operate in compliance with procedures.


Qualifications:
  • B.Sc Degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years in a Quality Supervisor role in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food safety systems, quality systems, root cause analysis, and GFSI standards (FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC).
  • Internal auditing experience, presentation, training, analytical, organizational, and excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
