- Annual performance bonus, long‑term incentive opportunity as the role expands
- Refine ISO 9001 processes and prepare to integrate ISO 14001 / 45001 elements as the EHS scope expands.
- Perform routine offline/online checks on automated compounding lines and maintain lab instruments/calibration records.
- Drive 8D/5 Why investigations, craft corrective actions, and present concise reports to both customers and leadership.
- Audit automated in‑process controls, eliminate redundant tests, and establish leading KPIs linking quality, cost, and delivery.
- Assist with risk assessments, safety culture initiatives, and environmental compliance projects, positioning the role to evolve into full SHEQ leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
- 10 + years in Quality Assurance/Control within plastics compounding, extrusion, injection molding, or similar process environments.
- Proven track record leading root‑cause investigations and implementing permanent corrective actions.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001; exposure to ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 and safety programs is a plus.
- Experience with lab testing, color matching, TPE or masterbatch compounding, and automated QC equipment is highly desirable.
- Statistical aptitude; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data‑analysis tools.
- Ability to work in both office/lab and manufacturing environments, including lifting to 60 lbs and wearing required PPE.
