Quality Manager
Job Description
- Set quality standards and ensure consistent application across all departments to maintain alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop, implement, and oversee processes to verify that products meet defined specifications for quality, functionality, and reliability before delivery. Key processes and inspections include:
- Audits of incoming materials and components.
- In-process manufacturing inspections.
- Final product inspections.
- Ensure availability of necessary tools and equipment, including gauges and calibration systems, to support quality audits.
- Manage the disposition of non-conforming materials and ensure corrective actions are documented and addressed promptly.
- Coordinate and implement training programs for both quality assurance teams and production floor personnel to maintain high quality standards.
- Generate and review quality reports, identifying areas of compliance and non-compliance with established quality criteria.
- Ensure that offshore products meet quality standards by aligning with Taiwan Technical Center (TTC) guidelines and overseeing adherence to these standards.
- Review and assist in the resolution of customer and field complaints, facilitating the appropriate disposition and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Support the qualification process for new vendors, ensuring that new component and material suppliers meet the necessary quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in a related field with supervisory experience a plus.
- This is an on-site position.
- Hire and train quality assurance staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- Conducts annual performance reviews and goal setting for department staff.
