Title: Quality Manager (Food Manufacturing)
Location: Chicago, IL (Little Village area)
Salary: $110k - $130k + bonus potential

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Manager to ensure our food products meet the highest standards of safety, consistency, and quality. This role will oversee quality assurance and control across all production phases and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System to ensure regulatory compliance and product consistency.
- Lead quality assurance and control protocols across raw materials, in-process checks, and finished products.
- Conduct audits, traceability checks, and corrective/preventive actions to address quality deviations.
- Manage product testing and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for audits or inspections.
- Collaborate with Operations to integrate quality improvements and lean principles into daily workflows.
- Train and mentor staff in quality standards, GMP, sanitation, and safety practices.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, customers, and regulatory inspectors.
- Promote a plant-wide culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing or production environments.
- Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, GFSI standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
