Job Summary:
Tests, inspects, and measures product at various stages of production and complies data to evaluate the level of quality and reliability to ensure product integrity.
Job Duties:
- Ability to interpret work instructions, process control sheets and engineering drawings for part qualification, including first piece approvals performed at machine and use of inspection fixtures. Inspector will need to read engineering drawings up to measurable dimensions including, length, width, hole or slot sizes, thickness, and verify part number and revision to include any applicable notes that transfer to the process control sheet.
- Perform random quality control inspection audits on work in progress and finished goods
- Conduct 2 production rounds for each shift inspecting Parts and Material, using inspection tools as necessary.
- Utilize ERP system Epicor to process non-conforming materials to include dispositions
- Use of various equipment including decimal tape measure, caliper, ultra-sonic gauge, color spectrophotometer, Gloss Meter, Melt Flow, etc.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree with 0-1 year related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to properly use and read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
