Job Description

Quality Inspector – 1st Shift (Manufacturing)
A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking a Quality Inspector to support inspection of machined parts and assemblies in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with measurement tools on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect machined parts to ensure conformance with specifications and tolerances
  • Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related tools
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements, and tolerances
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Document inspection results and communicate issues to production and quality teams
  • Support quality standards and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or machining environment
  • Strong understanding of measurement instruments and how to properly use them
  • Ability to read prints and understand tolerances on machined parts (required)
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Comfortable working in a production/shop environment
Schedule & Compensation
  • 1st shift
  • Good amount of overtime available
  • Pay up to $27–$28/hr, depending on experience
