Quality Inspector
Job Description
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay Rate: $20 – $24/hour (based on experience)
- Perform visual inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Use mechanical measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions.
- Accurately document inspection results and complete quality-related reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and address quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, and follow all safety procedures.
- Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Experience reading blueprints or electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality systems.
