Job Description

Title: Quality Inspector 
Location: Chicago, IL 
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $55K/yr

Job Duties:
  • Inspect finished parts
  • Perform first article
  • Submit required certifications
  • Conduct and visual inspection of a variety of metal parts to verify compliance to customer specifications using measurement tools.
  • Complete inspection reports and quality documents.
  • Prepare metallic parts for packing according with customer’s package specifications.
  • Report to Quality Supervisor or Director of Quality if any discrepancy arises and follow procedures according to our Quality System ISO 9000 or AS9100
  • Understanding of computer software such as Word and Excel is desirable

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED, and preferably 1 year of experience as a QC inspector, mechanical inspector, or equivalent.
  • Above average analytical and mathematical skills necessary. 
  • Computer literate
  • Experience running CMM Vision system (plus)
  • Experience programming CMM system (big plus)
  • Experience with Mitutoyo Vision systems (big plus)
