Quality Inspector
Job Description
Salary: $55K/yr
- Inspect finished parts
- Perform first article
- Submit required certifications
- Conduct and visual inspection of a variety of metal parts to verify compliance to customer specifications using measurement tools.
- Complete inspection reports and quality documents.
- Prepare metallic parts for packing according with customer’s package specifications.
- Report to Quality Supervisor or Director of Quality if any discrepancy arises and follow procedures according to our Quality System ISO 9000 or AS9100
- Understanding of computer software such as Word and Excel is desirable
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED, and preferably 1 year of experience as a QC inspector, mechanical inspector, or equivalent.
- Above average analytical and mathematical skills necessary.
- Computer literate
- Experience running CMM Vision system (plus)
- Experience programming CMM system (big plus)
- Experience with Mitutoyo Vision systems (big plus)
