Quality Improvement Manager
Job Description
- Develop and implement long-range and short-term quality strategies and policies.
- Oversee ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 80079-34 compliance.
- Manage sustainability programs and develop corporate sustainability strategies.
- Supervise and lead Quality and Shipping & Receiving personnel.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances, corrective actions, and other quality challenges.
- Support new product launches (APQP/PPAPs).
- Lead audits and meetings (registrar, internal, supplier, and customer).
- Direct the integration of technical activities and products.
- Support new product launches, scale-up, and continuous improvements.
- Lead root cause analysis activities, FMEA's, flows, control plans, and other quality activities.
- Analyze cell dashboards and quality reporting to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in strategic capital/process decisions and correlate with 1-page business plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance/Control, or Business Management.
- 5+ years of quality experience in addition to leading, mentoring, training teams
- Strong understanding of ISO 9000; IATF 16949 preferred.
- Six Sigma knowledge; Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Solid knowledge of APQP, DFMA, PPAP, quality measurement, and inspection.
