Quality Engineer
Job Description
Location: Montgomery, AL
- Provide feedback and work to resolve manufacturing issues
- Work with program teams to complete product launches on schedule
- Regular interaction with customer and maintain customer issues logs
- Contribute and assist in the development of Quality Control plan
- Designs, installs, and evaluates quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques
- Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment. Analyzes production and service limitations and standards
- Recommends revision of specifications. Formulates or helps formulate quality assurance policies and procedures
- May conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools. Interfaces with all other engineering functions within an organization and with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in quality
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes and principles
- Experience working with internal and external customers
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Statistical analysis and quality assurance skills
