Quality Engineer
Job Description
- Quality Control: Develop and implement quality procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Documentation: Maintain quality records and prepare reports for management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) and stay updated on regulatory requirements.
- Supplier Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, resolving issues as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements and cost reductions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in quality engineering, preferably in automotive or aerospace.
- Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of quality control methods, statistical analysis, and relevant software.
