Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Grafton, WI

Basic Functions:
The primary role of the Quality Engineer is to ensure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications, achieve expected quality and reliability levels. The Quality Engineer is responsible to address opportunity for improvements, compliances, customer claims, lead corrective and preventive actions, support government work and requirements.
Primary Duties:
- Review Customer PO, support product development, and define customer nonstandard product quality inspections and evaluation requirements.
- Accountable to set and achieve source inspection for government related work.
- Develop, submit and track requests for deviations/waivers stemming from non-conforming material.
- Support supplier and customers qualification, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with company and customers Quality requirements.
- Perform and oversee root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process failures and manage identified product failures for potential solutions.
- Prepare internal and external reports, coordinate and perform internal process/product audits, and advocate for work safety and EHS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or related engineering field (Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of cross functional experience in Quality Assurance and Operations in a high precision manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications.
- Preferably an expert in Lean and Advanced Problem Solving (Six Sigma, 8D,…) usage with hands on experience
- Experience QMS audit processes.
- Proven ability to facilitate teams and lead improvement projects.
