Sterling Engineering is a growing Chicagoland Recruiting firm that specializes in placing top-tier talent. We have partnered with a large manufacturer of machinery geared for the aerospace/med device industries on some new needs. They are in need of another Quality Engineer to join their growing team. This person will have plentiful opportunity to grow within the company. 

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 
$$$-60-80k 

Overview of Role: 

  • Coordinate and manage customer source inspections with customer source inspectors, customer service representatives and project engineers.
  • Use customer required documentation formats, including customer internet portals.
  • Report on out of tolerance conditions, assist with the investigation and corrective action activities and complete a Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) report.
  • Issue and manage suppliers’ required corrective actions.
  • Prepare, submit and manage requests for deviation to customer where required.
  • Assist with gage R&R activities and capability studies, as required.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering related field
  • Ability to be on-site in EGV location 
  • Prior internship OR work experience in engineering related field
