Job Description

Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Balitmore, MD area

Summary:
The Quality Assurance Lead will primarily perform quality reviews for electric and gas commercial and industrial (C&I) designs. This position will be responsible for reviewing designs and applicable programs to ensure they meet standards as part of a tiered QA/QC review process and having meetings with designers as needed to rectify any issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide reviews on various C&I projects using standard redline methods
  • Ensure accuracy of plans to client specific standards
  • Prioritize projects based on scheduled deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Asset Suite 8/Intellio and their process
  • Familiarity with PoleForeman or other pole structural calculating software
  • Perform design work on an as needed basis for electric, gas, or fiber/telecom work utilizing MicroStation or AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with internal designers on work, helping to serve as a knowledge base for developing team members

Education and/or Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a QA reviewer on C&I electric/gas jobs is a major plus
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working as a designer or C&I type electrical work
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and Blubeam Revu
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in CADD or Engineering related field strongly preferred
