QC Inspector
Job Description
Location: Harvey, IL
- Working with the quality control team, including quality engineers, inspection techs, and production group
- Provide support following priority, scheduling, and delegated work assignments
- Responsible for interpreting and understanding customer generated drawings
- Inspection of work for final release
- Correction of inspection reports
- Knowledge of advanced quality planning and product part approval processes
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Ability to perform inspections using tools such as: dial bore gages, ID/OD micrometers, thread plug gages, and protractors
- Understanding AWS code standards
- Ability to perform weld/structural check inspections
- Some overtime and ability to travel up to 25%
- High school diploma/GED
- Relevant work experience
- Technical training
