QC Inspector
Job Description
- Inspect component parts manufactured in-house and sourced from external vendors.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain databases.
- Test and troubleshoot components and finished products to resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with company engineers and interact with external vendors to diagnose quality issues, address root causes, troubleshoot and improve product design and manufacturing processes.
- Over 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in using various measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with comparators, coordinate measuring machines, and vision systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings.
- Skilled in preparing and completing inspection forms and related documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
