Job Summary: 
The Operational Readiness Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating the operational readiness schedule for a pharmaceutical manufacturer’s API facility. This role works closely with the Operational Readiness Project Managers and other project team members to ensure the schedule reflects the current status and progress of the operational readiness deliverables. The Operational Readiness Scheduler also provides regular reports and analysis on the schedule performance, risks, and issues. This role requires strong scheduling skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. 

Job Duties:
  • Create and maintain the operational readiness schedule using Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera P6. 
  • Coordinate with the project team and stakeholders to collect and update the schedule information and data. 
  • Perform schedule analysis and identify critical path, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables. 
  • Provide schedule reports and dashboards to the Operational Readiness Project Manager and other project stakeholders. 
  • Monitor and track schedule performance, variances, risks, and issues. 
  • Recommend and implement schedule improvement actions and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant discipline. 
  • Minimum two to three years of experience in project scheduling and two to three years of experience working in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. 
  • Experience working in a GMP environment preferred. 
  • Experience Oracle Primavera P6 project scheduling software. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
