Job Description
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $115K–$130K (plus bonus)
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave, 1-month paid sabbatical every 5 years plus $5K for travel, and 1-week paid volunteer leave per year
- Develop accurate and competitive project cost estimates.
- Lead subcontractor selection, negotiation, and buyout processes.
- Conduct and lead weekly OAC (Owner–Architect–Contractor) meetings.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and change management.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate design reviews and ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Foster relationships with clients and partners to ensure project success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of construction management experience.
- Experience in substation, renewable energy, or other medium-voltage electrical projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6.
- Experience designing or reviewing drawings in AutoCAD or Revit required.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
