Job Posting: Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager to oversee factory automation projects. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling, and ensuring project success. Your role will involve coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining customer satisfaction. We are looking for a candidate with a BS degree in mechanical design or engineering, a minimum of five years of project development experience in a similar manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PC-based Microsoft applications. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential.


Personnel Management:

Determine manpower requirements for project teams.
Maintain an open and accessible approach to address employee concerns and needs.
Direct daily project activities in accordance with in-house guidelines and standards.
Prepare and guide project teams to accomplish objectives based on established priorities.
Project Responsibilities:

Ensure compatibility of purchase orders with project proposals.
Conduct regular project meetings with both the project team and the customer, recording and distributing information to all relevant parties.
Track and manage contract changes through written Change Order Requests and maintain a revision summary.
Coordinate and monitor the development of design and build phases using manpower schedules and spreadsheets.
Oversee material requisition process as required for each project.
Take responsibility for machine acceptance and sign-off, along with customer milestone invoice sign-off.
Conduct Project Closeout meetings to capture project highlights and areas for improvement.
Generate historical project data as required by other departments.
Create project forecasts to track status and performance against project objectives.
