Title: Project Manager 
Location: Atlanta, GA
Hire Type: Long term contract

Experience
Candidates are required to have experience and/or high working knowledge in the following areas:
  1. General Management 
    1. Developing innovative solutions
    2. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  2. Scoping 
    1. Developing project objectives and strategies
    2. Leading estimating discussions on projects with limited design work complete
  3. Bid process management
    1. Experience in developing and managing contractor Scopes of Work
    2. Compiling RFP guidelines and assist in qualification and selection of contractors
    3. Performing bid variance analysis 
  4. Controls 
    1. Scheduling
      1. Experience in schedule development
      2. Tracking project resource availability
      3. Verifying schedules based on actual progress
      4. Expediting Schedule and project delivery milestones
    2. Cost Control
      1. Thorough understanding of cost management practices 
      2. Cost variance analysis and reporting
      3. Managing multiyear projects to annualized budgets
      4. Reviewing and approving change orders
    3. Risk
      1. Managing project risks and minimize Owner's exposure
      2. Facilitating the resolution of all project issues
  5. Execution
    1. Ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    2. Working with construction management and contractors for daily / weekly progress
    3. Addressing issues as they arise, calling ad hoc team meetings, vetting solutions and driving resolution 
    4. Maintain daily interactions with the client, designers, stakeholders, contractors, inspectors, and local authorities
    5. Manage clear and consistent communications with project stakeholders 
    6. Compile monthly reporting and presenting project progress to management
    7. Leading stage-gate review meetings with leadership
Education:
BA/BS in Project Management, Construction Management or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience
 
Required Experience:
  1. Linear construction experience required, Energy & Natural gas experience preferred
  2. 5 plus years project management experience 
  3. Great organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. Thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite
