Job Description 
Searching for a detail-oriented Project Manager with experience and education in engineering and construction.  A successful candidate will exhibit a track record of successfully leading project efforts from start to finish.  This role will coordinate with several track leads to execute roughly 100 natural gas station improvement or replacement projects per year.  This is a programmatic support position and involvement will begin at the initiation phase (scoping) through detailed design phase.  Projects will be handed to construction for execution with input from construction for confirmation of completion.  This role will be responsible for ensuring prerequisite activities are completed on time and for communicating potential concerns and schedule slippage to management quickly so that corrective action can be taken.  Candidates must have experience working in client-facing environments, be highly organized, and have strong communication and presentation skills.
 
Experience 
Candidates are required to have experience and/or high working knowledge in the following areas:
  1. General Management 
    1. Developing innovative solutions
    2. Management of large datasets to help manage the high volume of projects executed per year
    3. Creating and maintaining project documentation to show project progress
    4. Creating and maintaining reporting of project progress to management
  2. Scoping 
    1. Working with the project team to understand project intricacies
    2. Develop prioritization of projects and determine the correct volume of projects to design per year to support potential of projects being halted
  3. Controls 
    1. Scheduling
      1. Adopt / create systematic approaches to executing high volume of projects
      2. Tracking project resource availability
      3. Understanding project lifecycle so that input from meetings can be interpreted and incorporated to execution timelines and communicated to the team
    2. Risk
      1. Managing project risks and minimizing Owner's exposure
      2. Facilitating the resolution of all project issues
  4. Execution
    1. Ensuring project team members are providing deliverables on time
    2. Addressing issues as they arise, calling ad hoc team meetings, vetting solutions and driving resolution 
    3. Maintain daily interactions with project teams and management
    4. Manage clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders 
    5. Compile monthly reporting and presenting project progress to management
Education: 
BA/BS in Project Management, Construction Management or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience
 
Required Experience: 
  1. Linear construction experience is advantageous, Energy & Natural gas experience preferred
  2. 3 plus years of project management experience 
  3. Great organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. SmartSheet experience is a plus
  5. Thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite
