Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage capital construction projects, including natural gas compressor upgrades and maintenance.
  • Oversee the execution of projects from planning to completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain project tracking systems for updates and reporting.
  • Review and negotiate bids, select contractors, and manage contracts.
  • Handle change orders and ensure alignment with project goals and budgets.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure project alignment with technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including an assigned Project Manager, for seamless execution.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while promoting a diverse and safe work environment.
  • Ensuring Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes and timelines are being met.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing capital projects at a gas utility.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects ($5–$80 million).
  • Strong skills in contracts management, bid reviews, and contractor selection.
