Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the installation of a new production line at our Greenville, IL facility. The project, involving a $5M investment, will require the coordination of contractors, OEMs, and plant personnel to ensure a smooth installation and startup process. Equipment is scheduled to arrive between September and November 2024, with the aim of optimizing decision-making, pre-planning, and overall execution compared to past installations.

The project, involving a $5M investment, will require the coordination of contractors, OEMs, and plant personnel to ensure a smooth installation and startup process. Equipment is scheduled to arrive between September and November 2024, with the aim of optimizing decision-making, pre-planning, and overall execution compared to past installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of production equipment, including ovens, Fuji flow wrappers, and other standard machinery.
- Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and plant support teams to ensure timely installation and startup.
- Ensure utility requirements, including compressed air, gas, and electrical services, are in place.
- Manage procurement processes for additional bids from local contractors, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Work closely with OEMs to modify plant layouts as necessary to accommodate new equipment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to coordination, decision-making, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the installation process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large-scale industrial equipment installations, with a track record of success.
- Strong understanding of utilities setup, including electrical (2,000 Amp and 4,000 Amp services), compressed air, and gas systems.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to optimize processes and implement more efficient planning and execution strategies.
- Experience working with contractors and OEMs, particularly in bid evaluation and contract management.
