Job Summary:
Seeking a Program / Project Scheduler for Energy projects located in the Naperville, IL area (30 miles west of Chicago). The successful candidate will have experience developing and managing schedules with an understanding of the scope of work for Energy & Utility projects. Candidates must have experience using scheduling software.

Job Duties:
Candidates are required to have experience in the following areas;
· Creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
· Develop schedules around project WBS
· Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules based on communication with project stakeholders
· Incorporate logic into the schedule
· Define the critical path, evaluate critical and near critical path activity sequences
· Incorporate resources and budgets into the schedule
· Schedule baseline management
· Develop milestone reporting schedule including long lead procurement items
· Undertake monthly progress updates
· Review percentage complete against the weighted milestones
· Validate progress on sub-contractors’ schedules
· Reforecast completion dates
· Suggest corrective actions and develop recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur
· Forecast future resource requirements
· Develop and publish look ahead reports
· Support cash flow forecasting with schedule reports and forecast completion dates
· Review subcontractor schedules and incorporate into master schedule


Qualifications:
BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Alternatively equivalent industry experience will be considered.
· One (1) to five (5) years of project scheduling experience
· Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
· Experience working on Energy & Utility projects
Desired Experience:
· Proficient in Earned Value Management including development of rules of credit
· Experience performing risk assessments utilizing Monte Carlo
· Ability to work on a cross-functional team and facilitate communication across the organization
· Continuous improvement mindset to identify innovative ideas to improve current processes
