Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $40 - $55/hr
Our client is a well-established company specializing in industrial motor repair and maintenance, with a focus on motors, controls, and pumps. They are looking to bring on Project Engineers who will act as versatile, all-around team members. This is a great opportunity for engineers with an electrical background to expand their skills and gain valuable project management experience, while advancing within the company.
- Develop Cost Estimates: Calculate the required materials and labor to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Create Proposals: Draft comprehensive proposals for clients, outlining project plans and costs.
- Produce Design Sketches: Create initial design sketches to support sales orders and project planning.
- Assemble Bills of Materials: Generate detailed bills of materials to ensure all necessary components are accounted for.
- Draft CAD Designs: Produce CAD drawings to visualize project concepts and support engineering specifications.
- Design PLC Programs: Develop and implement PLC programming to control systems as part of project execution.
- Create HMI Interfaces: Design and develop HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems for ease of operation.
- Collaborate with Operations: Work closely with shop personnel and the purchasing team to resolve material sourcing issues.
- Bachelors in Engineering Related Field (Preferably Electrical)
- Experience and knowledge of PLCs, HMIS a must
- CAD experience a must
- Project Management Experience
