Job Description
Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Lisle, IL
Hire Type: Direct hire
Compensation: 90-110k

- Collaborate with Project Managers and technical leaders to advance engineering designs and improve processes
- Prepare proposals and estimate engineering hours for projects of varying size and complexity
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout all phases of engineering and design
- Apply technical expertise to develop designs that meet specifications and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and technical direction to engineers, drafters, and designers
- Perform technical analyses and work directly with clients to keep projects aligned with goals and schedules
- Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as Microsoft Copilot, custom AI workflows, and IT-supported innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency
- Partner with the Digital Transformation Team to support new tool integration and employee-driven improvement ideas
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (Civil or Mechanical preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience with pipeline and/or facility projects
- Experience designing or managing high-pressure gas projects
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
