Job Duties:
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Columbia, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
  • Water & Wastewater Infrastructure: Planning, design, permitting, inspection, and construction administration, including pump stations, distribution, collection, conveyance, storage tanks, and treatment systems.
  • Coordination with Other Disciplines: Experience working with design teams across multiple disciplines (e.g., traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey) is preferred.
  • Project Management: Experience managing projects is a plus.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams effectively.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Communication & Prioritization: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Construction Documentation: Ability to plan and manage the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 4–7 years of related experience.
  • Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Software Knowledge: Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
