Job Description

Title: Project Engineer  
Location: Bensenville, IL 
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $60-85K yrly
Must have:  ASME Certification preferred 
Misc: This role is 100% on-site 

Responsibilities: 
  1. Main point of contact for assigned customers.
  2. Develop and maintain close working relationships with our customer’s engineering, purchasing, and other key team members.
  3. Understand our customer requirements and verify that company can meet the terms of the quote request.
  4. Provide quotes and proposals on-time to our customer’s requirements.
  5. Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to get the best pricing and delivery while also ensuring high quality.
  6. Understand all aspect of the part or project requirements and specifications.
  7. Collaborate with the customers on tolerance, manufacturability, and advise on any changes required to meet their specifications.
  8. Collaborate with the Value Stream team members to find the best process and procedures to fabricate parts.
  9. Complete the PMP Estimation meeting to ensure the quoted manufacturing plan meets customer specifications,.
Requirements:
  1.  AS in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Advanced CAD or or 5 years metal fabrication experience
  2. Extensive Blueprint reading ability 
  3. Ability to recognize when special tooling or fixtures are required 
  4. Understand the costing structure and bring projects complete within budget
  5. MS Office, Word, Excel
