Job Title: Program Manager – Aerospace / Precision Manufacturing
Location: Near Wood Dale, IL 60191 (Near O’Hare Airport)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $120,000 – $125,000

Our firm is partnering with a leading aerospace and precision manufacturing organization to hire a Program Manager who will oversee complex programs involving precision-machined components and assemblies. This role plays a key part in ensuring successful project execution—from planning and resource coordination to customer communication and delivery performance. The Program Manager will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to support critical initiatives that meet demanding aerospace and defense requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee program plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources across Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates, data, and support.
• Monitor project performance, address issues proactively, and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Manage sub-suppliers and internal procedures related to customer and industry standards.
• Support method development activities and participate in product/process flow reviews.
• Develop and track short- and long-term project plans, ensuring system accuracy and documentation compliance.
• Identify and support Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to drive productivity and cost improvements.
• Lead and support teams across multiple locations as needed.
• Organize and participate in program meetings and conference calls.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required).
• 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing within an engineering or quality capacity (GD&T knowledge required).
• Strong program/project management skills with proven success in planning, coordination, and communication.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as 5-axis machining, EDM, and material handling.
• Prior exposure to aerospace or military manufacturing environments highly desirable.
• Experience working with titanium, aluminum, nickel alloys, and stainless steel is a plus.
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and deadline-driven execution skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, including training and mentorship experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
