Title: Production Support 
Location: Bensenville, IL 
Hire Type: CONTRACT-TO-HIRE

Job Duties:
  • Coordination of the daily production in assigned value stream cells, as it relates to workflow, capacity management, and skill sets required to assure on time delivery of quality parts based on customers’ requirements
  • Assuring accuracy of M1 data by making corrections to any inaccurate data.
  • Managing daily schedule board and visual management systems
  • Assign work to team members within the value stream 
  • Coordinating with shipping in support of OTD metrics and customer commitments
  • Coordinating with purchasing to ensure adequate supplies, materials, etc. for meeting production schedules and job requirements
  • Work with inspection and team members to make adjustments to parts so that they meet print requirements
Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Processes
  • Blueprint reading preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Emotionally intelligent people skills
  • Metal Fabrication knowledge preferred
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to self-manage
