Job Description

Title: Production Supervisor (Part - Time, Friday & Saturday shift)

Hourly Pay: $28hr - $35hr 

Location: West Columbia, SC 29170

Hours/Shift: Friday & Saturday 7am - 530pm 


Job Duties:
  • Oversee the production of multiple processes and production lines in a highly technical manufacturing environment.
  • Lead a team of professionals, including engineers and technicians, to meet quality, cost, delivery, and production efficiency goals.
  • Monitor daily plant performance and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and overall operations.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze operational challenges, working closely with operators to enhance performance and technical understanding.
  • Evaluate and implement plant improvement ideas, collaborating with engineers to develop project proposals.
  • Provide technical and operational support to project teams, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Serve as the key liaison between operations and maintenance teams to coordinate equipment servicing and repairs.
  • Train and mentor junior operators, fostering skill development and process understanding.
  • Manage production schedules based on product demand, equipment capacity, and material availability to meet customer expectations.
  • Drive process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency.
  • Assist in departmental budget planning and manage expenses to align with financial objectives.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by enforcing safety protocols, equipment usage guidelines, and company policies.

Qualifications:
  • Associates, certificate or bachelors preferred but will consider 10+ years hands-on  experience in a highly technical manufacturing environment
