Production Supervisor (12 hour nights)
Job Description
12 hours Night shift (7PM-7AM)
- Supervise and provide daily guidance to shift personnel in the plant.
- Effectively communicate significant business and production issues.
- Interpret and communicate company policies to associates and enforce safety regulations and programs.
- Communicate and enforce high expectations of quality and production standards.
- Work with personnel to determine root causes of quality and safety issues.
- Effectively interact with other manufacturing departments and support groups within the organization.
- Recommends measures to improve safety, production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Foster and drive Lean principles using Continuous Improvement approach (i.e., Kaizen, 5s, Standard Work etc.).
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required, Bachelors’ degree preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Additional education in quality, safety, mechanical or electrical areas desired
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts is required.
