Production Planner
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing parts kits for assemblers.
- Monitor order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to production schedules.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate risks and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards, maintaining the highest level of excellence.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Control Specialist and Purchasing team to manage inventory levels and report supply shortages.
- Track and report production metrics and performance, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate constant communication between purchasing and manufacturing departments to meet scheduled due dates.
- Plan, analyze, and schedule job orders within the facility, optimizing capacity levels and efficiency.
- Review and monitor production schedules, ensuring accuracy and considering capacity constraints.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- 5+ years of production control experience or equivalent specialized training in scheduling and production control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably with MISys Manufacturing.
- Thorough knowledge of production control processes and procedures in a fabrication setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances.
