Job Summary:
- A leading manufacturer of specialty food products is seeking a Planner to join their team in Brook Park, OH. The Planner will be responsible for optimizing production schedules to meet customer demand while effectively managing materials and inventory levels. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to maximize plant efficiency.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure timely communication and address any order changes.
- Negotiate cost-effective procurement of materials, including packaging and ingredients, while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Utilize forecasting and planning systems to manage inventory and track material movements.
- Minimize material waste and write-offs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related business field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, planning, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in relevant planning and inventory management systems.
