Title: Production Manager
Location: Near Bensenville, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $80k-$90k/yr.

Job Duties:
  • Manage, control, and improve manufacturing processes
  • Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks
  • Monitor, measure, and reduce waste
  • Minimize work in process inventory and manufacturing lead times
  • Develop and train group leaders and supervisors
  • Manage production and employee issues
  • Motivate, train, and develop employees
  • Manufacture high-quality products
  • Interface with engineering for design improvements
  • Ensure a safe and OSHA-compliant work environment
  • Administer company policies and procedures
  • Determine and pursue continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
  • Minimum 10 years related experience with at least 3 years of management
  • Ability to manage 60-70 people
  • Knowledge of engineering concepts (BOM, costing, design, CAD)
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management
  • Excellent leadership, motivation, and development skills
