Production Manager
Job Description
- Oversee, control, and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Organize and level production workflow, keeping senior management informed of status updates.
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor, measure, and reduce material scrap and labor waste.
- Minimize work-in-process inventory and manufacturing lead times.
- Develop and train group leaders and supervisors.
- Manage all aspects of production and employee issues, including reviews, benefits, and disciplinary matters.
- Motivate, train, and develop employees to their full potential.
- Ensure the manufacture of products of the highest quality.
- Participate in the selection of manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in projects related to engineering and quality as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering on design improvements.
- Maintain a safe and OSHA-compliant work environment.
- Administer company policies and compliance programs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an assembly manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly preferred
