Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our food manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of our production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing productivity. They will play a key role in implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, manage resources effectively, and ensure the timely delivery of products while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Job Duties:
• Develop and implement strategies to improve overall operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Oversee and manage the production process, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards
• Lead and coordinate the activities of production teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Manage and optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and quality regulations and standards
• Implement and monitor performance metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance product quality
• Identify and implement best practices for efficient and cost-effective production processes
• Lead and develop a strong team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance overall performance and employee development
• Manage and control production budgets and expenses effectively
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
• Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry, with a strong track record of successful operations management
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement
• Thorough understanding of safety, health, and quality standards within the food manufacturing industry
• Ability to manage resources efficiently and optimize production processes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control expenses effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
