Job Duties:
  • Responsible for the management and improvement of all functions involved in the day to day activities regarding manufacturing including production, process engineering, quality, maintenance and inventory control. 
  • Reorganization of factory layout based on lean manufacturing principles.
  • Responsible for setting, monitoring and achievement of improvement targets on major KPI’s in line with group objectives. 
  • Must maintain and improve facilities and equipment.
  • Manage all inventory functions coordinating closely with Purchasing and Customer Service. 
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
  • Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.
  • Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
  • Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
  • Provides direction, training, development and leadership to direct reports.
  • To ensure compliance with all Quality standards and procedures per customers’ requirements.
  • Responsible for implementing appropriate health, safety and environmental programs.
  • To ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or plant management.
  • Hands on experience with effective sustainability of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of material systems, purchasing, MRP, BOM structure. (Knowledge of Microsoft ERP systems a plus)
